To Holbein!
Finally, I went to Holbein's art space.

I've always wanted to go there, and finally I was able to go.
New watercolor pencils released
That's because new watercolor pencils have been released!
This is my first Holbein watercolor pencil.
I thought, "I have to get this!"
The watercolor pencils I used to use have been discontinued,
That's why I was thinking about getting some new watercolor pencils.
When I heard that it was being released by Holbein, I really wanted to get my hands on it.
Holbein's headquarters is in Osaka, which I'm sorry to say I didn't know...
I had assumed it was an overseas manufacturer because of the stylish look of the paint packaging, but...!
It was Osaka!
I thought I'd introduce this.
Here's what I visited this time:

Watercolor pencils for coloring stamps
In Ekuryu Forest,
I use watercolor pencils to color the stamps.
I also use it as a date stamp!
These two types of date stamps can also be "colored" ♪
Of course, the samples are colored with watercolor pencils.

When using watercolor pencils
The ink "Stays On Midi" is very useful.
Because it repels water.
*Since the teardrop-shaped ink (Versa Magic Dew Drop) does not repel water, unfortunately the watercolor pencils can only be used in the same shape as regular colored pencils.
Water brushes cannot be used.
Holbein is known for his transparent watercolors
Holbein is famous for his transparent watercolors.
This is the red package
Previously, at Christmas, I used a stencil sheet to color (sputter) a winter forest landscape using these Holbein transparent watercolors.

The newly released watercolor pencils are the same colors as transparent watercolor paints!
That's right! This is the main point of this article.
Holbein's new watercolor pencils are
It's the same color as transparent watercolor paint!
The same colors are reproduced.
You can also combine it with transparent watercolors.
However, watercolor pencils alone can be a lot of fun, so I think I'll probably end up using just watercolor pencils!

Why choose watercolor pencils for coloring stamps?

I haven't had much time recently, so I haven't been able to show you any coloring tips.

These are examples of works from the "Flower Festival Series," all of which were colored using watercolor pencils and a water brush.

I don't just want to sell stamps, I want to show everyone how to enjoy them, and I hope that you will enjoy them and share the fun with me.
It's surprisingly difficult to know how to use art supplies, and there's no one to ask, isn't it?

I sell stamps at Ekuryu no Mori, but I also love stamping and want everyone to enjoy it together.

That's the fun of coloring.
I want to share that with you. I think that's probably one of the main reasons why I sell stamps.
I've always loved coloring things.
I like watercolors, but they're a bit too difficult to use on a daily basis, right?
You need to prepare a palette and water.
