Create spring scenery using stamps and stencils! Coloring instructions included

Cherry blossom scenery with stamps and stencils

The cherry blossoms bloomed early this year.
Every day the rain and wind are intense.
The cherry blossoms will soon fall.

★The "ink color" is also a key point and we provide a rare, detailed explanation, so be sure to check it out until the end!

Now is the time to enjoy it ♪
Pink cherry blossom forest scenery with stamps and stencils

*This is a piece I created last year and introduced on Instagram.
I didn't explain it in detail so
I would like to introduce it again on my blog!

Enjoy the seasons

Since we have four beautiful seasons, why not enjoy spring images in making postcards and, of course, decorating your planner?

There are also mini stamps of winter scenery!

They say it's only available in winter, but...
These mini stamps can be used all year round like this.

Winter scenery mini stamps

If you use it in a creative way, you can use it all year round, not just in winter, so be sure to get one!
Because it is a light design,
It's also great for finishing off parts that seem a little lacking, or for balancing things out.

The color of the ink is key

Normally I use green ink for trees, but I used pink ink to represent cherry blossoms.

Just changing the color can completely change the atmosphere.
During the autumn foliage you can enjoy the orange and brown colors.

The key is the ink color when stamping!

This time, the trees and flowers are pink, and the grass on the ground is green or yellow-green.
There's also a slightly dandelion-like yellow.

Stazon's "Eden Green" is also a key point!

This ink has been added to the market since then, but
We use it a lot in our samples.

Despite this, it seems like surprisingly few people choose it, but I do recommend it because of its beautiful green color.
The vibrant green color is incredibly beautiful and not found in other inks.

↓ When you want to create a lily of the valley gradation like this,
I use it pretty much every time!

This is the vibrant green.
The ink is larger than the others (because this is the only size available!)

↓ There is also a square size and a green color called "Olive Green",
It's a pretty dull green.

When we use them in our store, we actually use different colours of green for the leaves depending on the type of flower!

This, if you say so,
I've never explained it before, but I wonder if you noticed?!

The green colour of the leaves changes depending on the type of flower.

Bluebells Fairy Flowers Fairy Flowers Ekuryu no Mori Flower Festival Series New Year's Cards Christmas Cards Postcards Stamps Notebook Sticky Notes Card Making Pop-up Cards

For "Bluebell" leaves,
I often use the dull green color "olive green."
↑The wreath above also includes some vibrant Eden Green mixed in.

[3-piece flower stamp set] Lily of the valley, bluebell, daisy Ekuryu no Mori Flower Festival series Stamps for New Year's cards, Christmas cards, postcards, diary sticky notes, card making

This is a "pop-up card" that is primarily made of a dull olive green color, to which I later added a slightly brighter green using watercolor pencils and a water brush.

----------------------------

However, for "Lily of the Valley" I almost always use the vibrant "Eden Green."

The leaves of lily of the valley are dark green and the flowers are white.
I generally use bright green as it expresses freshness and makes cute flowers stand out.

Lily of the valley flowers are
I often use yellow-green and the blue "Blue Hawaii" from Stays On Midi in gradients!
The blue of "Blue Hawaii" is also a really nice color, so I recommend it!

↓This is how I use it
It's a vibrant green color, roughly the color of "Eden Green."
Or the image of forget-me-nots.
The blue part is "Blue Hawaii."

The Stazon ink page has a detailed introduction with images (↓I'll post links to the products I used this time below).

So, in this spring's work

The stamps in the lower half: four-leaf clovers, winter scenery mini stamps, etc. are mainly made with the vivid "Stays On: Eden Green"

+ The yellow-green color of the small teardrop-shaped ink "Versa Magic Dew Drop" is partially combined with the "Grass Stamp" etc.

The "square date stamp" looks a bit harsh if it's just Eden Green, so I used "yellow-green and gradation"♪
It's a small thing, but it softens the impression.

Since I have never introduced it in words like this, you may think that I am just doing it casually,
Especially the "use of colors" requires a lot of brainpower ^^
I think and calculate when I create my works.

The forest silhouette in the background is sputtered with transparent watercolor paint.

Combining stencils with stamps adds depth to your work.
I originally created this stencil sheet to create a winter scene, but it can now be used all year round.

Use this as a reference and enjoy your spring creations!

I have tried to explain it in rare detail.
I hope this is helpful.

Just looking at the finished product,
It may not seem like they put that much thought into it! Haha

It's also fun to spend time thinking and experimenting like this.

Also good for brain training?!

Stamps are really a creative process that requires a lot of thought.

I think it's good for kids too
I think it's also good for older people.

Recently, several customers have told me that they are caring for someone and spend a lot of time at home, but that they enjoy stamping during those times.
I was also told that they enjoy it together with the elderly people.

Stamps can actually require a lot of brainpower!
It could be a good "brain training" too!
Isn't that a good idea?

Enjoying it alone can be addictive, but it's even more fun if you have someone to enjoy it with.

Anyone can enjoy stamps, even if they can't draw.
And the best thing about it is that you can use it over and over again!

I often fail when making stamps, but the feeling of satisfaction when I finally get a great result is great.

Please show us your finished work and the process!

I've been feeling a bit unmotivated lately,
I haven't been able to send out any messages yet, but...!

I wanted to convey the fun of stamps in this way, so I wrote

Stamps are fun, and time spent engrossed in them is important.
I wanted to be able to convey that kind of fun.

Even if you use the same product, the results will be different for each person.

We deliver our products to people in Japan and all over the world, and they are enjoyed by them.
